Setting the date/time of the internal clock

The date/time and time zone are recorded as metadata in the content (clip) while shooting. The date/time metadata will affect the playback order by the
thumbnail.
Always check and set the date/time and time zone before using the camera for the first time.
Do not change the setting of the date/time and time zone while shooting.

Press the <MENU> button for 3 seconds or more.
f The main menu screen is displayed in the viewfinder.

Select the main menu → [OTHER FUNCTIONS] → [CLOCK SETTING] to set the year, month, day, and time.
For details on the settings menu, refer to "Setting menu basic operations" (page 128).

Select the main menu → [OTHER FUNCTIONS] → [TIME ZONE] to set the time difference from Greenwich Mean Time.

t The accuracy of the clock is approximately ±30 seconds per month. Check and reset the time when accurate time is required.
