The buttons on your phone are called "keys," which is why the phone is sometimes
called a "Keyset." Your phone has two basic types of keys:
·
Keypad Keys: Allow you to enter numbers and letters.
·
Feature Keys: Provide quick access to various phone and voice mail features.
For details about the feature keys, see the following page.
Display
Your Analog Phone may have two lines of display with 16 characters per line. If your
phone has this display, it shows your extension number, user name, time of day, and
date when the phone is idle. At other times, it may display reminder messages, Do-
Not-Disturb messages, numbers dialed, call sources, elapsed time of calls, current call
costs, error messages, etc.
NOTE:
Not all Analog Phones have a display.
