Click Apply to implement changes made.
To add a PIM Candidate RP, click the Add button in the previous window, which will display the following window for the user
to configure.
The following fields can be set:
Parameter
IP Address
Subnet Mask
Interface
Click Apply to add the device as a Candidate RP.

PIM Static RP Settings

The following window will display the parameters for the switch to become a CRP. To view this window, click L3 Features > IP
Multicast Routing Protocol > PIM > PIM Static RP Settings.
The following fields can be viewed or set:
Parameter
Group Address
Group Mask
RP Address
Click Apply to implement changes made.

Description
Enter the IP address of the device to be added as a Candidate RP.
Enter the corresponding subnet mask of the device to be added as a Candidate RP.
Enter the IP interface where this device is located.

Description
Enter the multicast group address for this Static RP. This address must be a class D address.
Enter the mask for the multicast group address stated above.
Enter the IP address of the rendezvous Point.
