Scroll to the preset input mode, press "5" to select. After finishing the setup, press "#" to
save the current setting and enter the door and fire alarm linkage setup interface. In case of
a fire alarm, the door may have two actions: open and close. Press "#" to toggle between
open and close.
The system displays the current door action when a fire alarm sounds. Press "*" to exit, and
the setting is finalized upon exit.
4.8.4.2 Other Alarm Setting
If the set alarm is another type, the general Alarm Setting interface will show up. The
general Alarm Setting has three steps: First, set input mode; then set protection setup delay
time; and finally set the alarm time.
Step 1: Select the input mode to be set and press "5" to confirm. There are three input
modes: Off, normally opened and normally closed. Select Off will invalid the alarm input.
The NO and NC mode settings are the same as those in Chapter 4.8.4.1 Fire Alarm Setting.
After selecting the input mode, input the focus to transfer to the output mode check box,
select the output mode to be set and press "5" to confirm. There are two output modes:
latch and transparent. If a latch mode is selected, when the alarm output is withdrawn, the
system will keep the alarm output until the end of the alarm time; and if transparent output
mode is selected, the alarm output and alarm input will occur and be withdrawn
simultaneously. After selecting the input and output modes, press "#" to save the current
settings and enter the protection setup delay time setting interface.
Step 2: After protection setup of the system is conducted, the system requires a period of
time to respond to the alarm input from the protection area, which is called the alarm delay
time. The default alarm delay time is 30s. After inputting the protection setup delay time,
press "#" to save the current setting and enter the alarm time setting interface.
