Code No. P0325 Detonation sensor system
Inspection Range
D Ignition switch: ON
D Excluding for 2 seconds after ignition switch is set to "ON" position or 2 seconds
after engine start is completed.
D The engine speed is approximately 2,000 r/min or more.
D The volumetric efficiency is 30% or more.
Set Conditions
D Changes in sensor output voltage (detonation sensor peak voltage per 1/2
crankshaft rotation) in 200 consecutive cycles are 0.06 V or less.
Check the following connector: B-122
Measure at the B-122 detonation sensor connector
D Disconnect the connector and measure at the harness side.
D The resistance between terminal No.2 and earth
OK: 2 Ω or less
Check the following connector: C-71
Check the harness wire between the detonation sensor and the
engine-ECU.
D Check for open circuit, short circuit, and damage of the output
wire.
Check the trouble symptoms.
Replace the detonation sensor.
Check the trouble symptoms.

D Check for disconnection and damage of the earth wire.
