REMOVING THE WATER RESERVOIR AND WATER VALVE

Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
1.
Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power.
2.
Turn off the water supply to the refrigera-
tor.
3.
Remove the two screws from the base
grille and remove the grille.

Remove the six screws from the bottom
trim and remove the trim and the drip pan.

Unclip the wires and remove the dispenser
wiring terminal cover, then disconnect the
dispenser wiring connectors.

Position a container to catch the water in
the next step.
Push in on the John Guest retaining ring
and remove the water inlet tubing from the
water valve.
Remove the two screws from the water
valve and pull the valve forward as far as
possible.
