REMOVING THE INVERTER ASSEMBLY

Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
1.
Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power.
2.
Remove the main and louvered decora-
tive panels (see page 4-2).
3.
Remove the eight screws from the unit
compartment front cover, and pull the cover
forward out of the way (see page 4-2).
4.
Disconnect the two inverter assembly wire
connectors from the harness.

Remove the two hex-head screws from
the inverter assembly (see the photo at the
top of the right column).
6.
Pull the inverter assembly forward and
remove it from the rear bracket, then posi-
tion the assembly out of the way.

7.
Using a large screwdriver, pry down on the
compressor terminal cover, and remove it
from the compressor.
8.
Pull the inverter connector off the com-
pressor pins.
9.
Pull the green ground connector off the
compressor terminal.
