2.4 PAPER END DETECTION

2.4.1 PAPER END SENSOR

A paper end sensor [A] and a feeler [C]
are located on the top cover [D]. The
feeler rests on the topmost sheet of
paper in the paper tray. When the
paper tray is empty, the feeler falls into
the opening [E] in the paper tray's
bottom plate. The left end of the feeler
[B] then actuates (interrupts) the paper
end sensor.
