Checking Channel and Fax Status

Use the Fax Status page to view the current state for each channel. It includes the status of any inbound or
outbound faxes. Users can immediately send or abort outbound faxes. Administrators can also reset channels.
To view a status, click Status & Logs > Fax Status.

Description
This is the status of the time server currently in use. It also shows error messages.

When Use Registrar is checked in the Fax Configuration > SIP settings, this shows the status
of FaxFinder connecting to the registrar for SIP call routing.
Current status of each printer set up in System Configuration > Printers.
Description
Sequential channel number receiving a fax.
Current channel state: Idle, Waiting for Ring, Sending, Receiving, Connected, Hanging Up
and Busied Out.
Total number of pages a channel has sent or received during current fax transmission.
Dialed fax number.
Appears when you point to an active channel. Channel's modulation.
Appears when you point to an active channel. Channel's current baud rate.
Appears when you point to an active channel. Shows if Error Correction Mode is on or off
for the channel.
Appears when you point to an active channel. Line encoding set for this channel.
Appears when you point to an active channel. Resolution used to transmit the page.
Vertical scan line types include fine and standard.
Appears when you point to an active channel. Identification received from the remote
connection.
Description
Time server likely set to None.
FaxFinder is currently synchronizing with the time server.
FaxFinder last synchronized with the time server at the specified
date and time. The offset, if any, indicates how much FaxFinder
adjusted its time.
Time synchronization failed due to the error shown.
