Checking the Status of Ink Cartridges

Check the status of the ink cartridges before you start printing. If the amount of the remaining ink is low, or the
[NEAR END] or [INK END] message is displayed, replace the ink cartridge.
• Checking the Ink Cartridges
→ Displaying the Information of this machine (
• When the ink cartridge is nearly empty
• When [NEAR END] warning is displayed
• When [INK END] warning is displayed
→ Changing an ink cartridge (
• While [NEAR END] warning is displayed, the current mode returns to LOCAL after each printing has
been completed. You cannot make multiple prints consecutively.
• When [INK END] error occurs while making a print, printing stops and the current mode returns to
LOCAL.
• Printing cannot be started while [INK END] warning is being displayed.

Checking the Status of Waste Ink Bottle

Check the condition of the waste ink bottle before you start printing. If the bottle is nearly full, or a waste ink
bottle confirmation message is displayed, replace the bottle.
• Checking the Waste Ink Bottle
→ Confirming Machine Information (
• The waste ink bottle is nearly full
• A waste ink bottle confirmation message is displayed
→ Replace the waste ink bottle with another (
• When a waste ink bottle confirmation message appears while making a print, printing stops and the
current mode returns to LOCAL.
• Printing cannot be started while a waste ink bottle confirmation message is being displayed.
