B. Remove upper side covers.
7. Disconnect drive link.
A. Using a 5/16" Allen wrench and 3/4" open
end wrench, remove the Button Head
Socket Cap Screw (BHSCS), locknut and
two nylon washers and set aside. NOTE:
The BHSCS, locknut and washers will be
reused in step 17. See Figure 5.

B. Tilt the drive link forward and lean on frame.
8. Disconnect S-link.
A. Using a 5/32" Allen wrench, remove the
BHSCS, washer, plastic end cap and spacer
securing both S-link of the handles to the
front legs. See Figure 6.
NOTE: In older units remove the BHSCS,
aluminum end caps and nylon washers.
B. Tilt handles back and lean on frame.

9. Remove BHSCS and end cap.
A. Using a 7/32" Allen wrench, remove the
BHSCS, plastic end cap and spacer
securing the rear leg to the foot bar.
See Figure 7.
NOTE: Older units have an aluminum end cap
and do not have a spacer.

10. Remove rear leg and foot bar.
A. Using two 7/32" Allen wrench, remove the
inside BHSCS, plastic end cap and spacer.
While holding the rear leg, remove the pivot
pin. NOTE: You may need a rubber mallet
and punch to remove the pivot pin.
NOTE: Older units have an aluminum end cap
and do not have a spacer.
B. Carefully lower the rear leg. See Figure 8.
