17 Control Panel
CAUTION
Before handling the P.C. Board, ensure you are properly grounded to prevent static discharge and damage to the components of the P.C.
Board. A static strap MUST be worn and properly grounded using an alligator clip. Electrical conduit or a water pipe can bue used if a
ground is unavailable. Care should be taken to ensure that the alligator clip contacts bare metal surface.

17.1 Replacing the LCD Display

Required tools: Torx® T10 screwdriver
1.
Disassemble the Solo2. Refer to Accessing Internal Components on page 40.
2.
Disconnect the Ribbon Cable from the Control Panel and the patient outlet fitting tube (Detail "A").
3.
Remove and retain the screws that attach the LCD display to the control panel (Detail "B").
4.
Remove the film covering the glass surface on the LCD display and put the display in place lining up the mounting holes for the screws.
5.
Connect the ribbon cable to the LCD display as shown in Detail "B".
6.
With spacers in place attach the control panel with screws. Tighten carefully. DO NOT overtighten.
