12 Ribbon Cable
CAUTION
Before handling the P.C. Board, ensure you are properly grounded to prevent static discharge and damage to the components of the P.C.
Board. A static strap MUST be worn and properly grounded using an alligator clip. Electrical conduit or a water pipe can bue used if a
ground is unavailable. Care should be taken to ensure that the alligator clip contacts bare metal surface.
Required tools: Torx® T15 screwdriver, Torx® T10 screwdriver,
a properly grounded static strap

12.1 Disconnecting the Ribbon Cable

1.
Using the Torx™ T15 screwdriver loosen but do not remove the
screw as shown in Detail "A".
2.
Swing the mounting bracket over to allow the cable to be
unplugged.
3.
Unplug the Ribbon Cable from the P.C. Board.
4.
Using the Torx™ T10 screwdriver loosen but do not remove the
screw as shown in Detail "B".
5.
Swing the mounting bracket over to allow the cable to be
unplugged.
6.
Unplug the Ribbon Cable from the Control Panel P.C. Board.

12.2 Connecting the Ribbon Cable

1.
Reverse STEPS 1-6 in the above procedure to connect the Ribbon
Cable to the P.C. Board.
2.
Make sure the cable ends are plugged back in per Details "A" and
"B".
