13.2 Installing the Battery Pack

1. Inspect the battery for damage including the battery contacts on the bottom Detail "A". Ensure there is no damage to the pins in the connectors.
If damaged replace the battery pack.
2. Align the with the slots on the back of the Solo2 as shown in Details "B" and "C".
3. Slide the battery pack into the Solo2 unit until the battery pack is flush with the contact of the Solo2 rear shroud as shown in Details "D" and "E".
4. Check the alignment of the battery pack. If alignment is off, pull battery back up slightly and reposition until the battery pack is flush with both
the top and bottom of the rear shroud.
5. Verify the battery is in contact with the electrical connections by turning the unit on.
If power up occurs the unit is working correctly. If power up does not occur, repeat STEPS 2-4 until the battery pack alignment and
contact with the electrical corrections is correct and unit powers up.
