08 Sub Compile CD Width Adjustment
Perform this adjustment for the width in horizontal scanning direction of the body set.

Detail
Use this adjustment if the horizontal scanning direction is unequal on the former half of body pages
when making more than one perfect-bound book. If unequalness appears on all pages of the body set,
use 09 Clamp CD Width Adjustment instead.
To specify Sub Compile CD Width Adjustment

Touch [Adjustment] on the Machine Status Screen.
The Adjustment Menu Screen will be displayed.

Touch [04 Finisher Adjustment], [08 Perfect Binder Adjustment], and then [08 Sub Compile CD Width
Adj.].
The Sub Compile CD Width Adjustment Screen will be displayed.

Display the required size key using up/down arrow keys to select the paper size of the body set to be
attached with the cover.

Touch [COPY] tab.
The Copy Screen will be displayed.

Select the PB tray or desired main body tray, then press [Start].
A sample pattern of perfect-bound book will be output.

Check that the horizontal scanning direction is equal on every page of the body set.
If it is not equal on all pages, proceed to the next step.
If unequalness appears on the latter half of body pages while the former half shows equalness, use [09
Clamp CD Width Adjustment].
