10. Hold onto the lower end of the steering stem as-
sembly.
11. Loosen and remove the adjusting ring nut (A,
Figure 50) and the bearing cap (B).
12. Remove the upper bearing inner race (A, Fig-
ure 51) and the bearing (B) from the steering head.
13. Lower the steering stem assembly down and
out of the steering head.
14. Remove the lower bearing from the steering
stem (Figure 52). The lower bearing race and the
dust seal will remain on the steering stem.
