CHASSIS BOLTS AND NUTS

Tighten initially at 1 000 km (600 miles, 3 months) and
every 5 000 km (3 000 miles, 15 months) thereafter.
Check that all chassis bolts and nuts are tightened to their specified torque. (Refer to page 2-26 for the loca-
tions of the following nuts and bolts on the motorcycle.)
1 Steering stem head nut
2 Front fork upper clamp bolt
3 Front fork lower clamp bolt
4 Front axle
5 Front axle pinch bolt
6 Handlebar clamp bolt
7 Front brake master cylinder holder bolt
8 Front brake caliper mounting bolt
9 Brake hose union bolt
0 Air bleeder valve (Front and Rear brake caliper)
A Brake disc bolt (Front)
B Brake disc bolt (Rear)
C Rear brake master cylinder mounting bolt
D Rear brake master cylinder rod lock-nut
E Front footrest bracket mounting bolt
F Swingarm pivot nut
G Rear shock absorber mounting nut (Upper)
H Rear shock absorber mounting nut (Lower)
I Rear axle nut
J Frame down tube nut (Front)
K Frame down tube bolt (Rear)
