Detector:
Select On to activate the video sensor. The current video standard and the cur-
rent alarm state are displayed.
Sensitivity:
The basic sensitivity of the video sensor can be adjusted for the environmental
conditions to which the camera is subject.
The sensor reacts to variations in the brightness of the video image. The darker
the observation area, the higher the value that must be selected.
Min. object size:
You can specify the number of sensor fields that a moving object must cover to
generate an alarm. This is to prevent objects that are too small from triggering
an alarm.
A minimum value of 4 is recommended. This corresponds to four sensor fields.
Tamper protection
Various options for tamper protection allow you counteract typical attempts to
tamper with cameras and video lines. In this regard, run a series of tests under
day and night conditions to ensure that the sensor works as intended.
Global change %:
You can define the percentage of sensor fields that must register a change
simultaneously before generating an alarm. This setting is independent of the
sensor fields selected under Select area.
