Installation of water connections

8.2.1 Installing B-Kit:

The relief valve and the pressure/temperature gauge are
mounted on the conversion nipple (included in B-Kit) on
the VK boiler supply connection as follows:
Measure length of thread on R1¼" × 1¼" NPT
double nipple.
Seal supply manifold to connection VK with the long
side to the boiler.
Seal conversion nipple on boiler inlet VK.
Seal pressure/temperature gauge to conversion
nipple.
NOTICE
Do not install the pressure relief valve until
after the leak test (
page 36).
The pressure relief valve must be installed
in a vertical position.

8.2.2 Installation of boiler drain (included in B-Kit)

Install the boiler fill and drain valve with seal to
connector EL.
Seal boiler drain to connection EL.
