Windows Printing

This section explains how to use Windows Printing Service for direct
printing on a Microsoft network.

Requirements

Computer must have NetBEUI protocol installed.

Configuring the controller

You need to perform the following PageScope Light procedure to
configure the controller for Windows printing.

Start up PageScope Light.

Input the correct password and log in to the Admin mode.

Click the
Windows.

Configure the settings described below.
Enable Windows Printing
Service:
NetBios Name*
Printing Service Name*
WorkGroup Name
* Changes in these settings do not go into effect until you turn the machine off and then back
on again.

Network tab, and then select
Turns Windows Printing Service on or off.
Specifies the NetBIOS name (up to 15 characters).
Specifies the Printing Service name (up to 13 characters).
Specifies the work group name (up to 15 characters).
