Local Interface Settings
If necessary, set the local interface on the machine's touch panel.

Press the [Utility] key.

Touch [Admin. Management] and input the Administrator code.

Touch [Admin. 2].

Touch [Print Set].

Make the following settings.

Using the Touch Panel to Configure Printer Settings
Set the mode for use of parallel interface
(Compatible, Nibble, ECP).
Set the communications timeout (10 to 300 sec.).
The timeout time specified here is applied when print
data is received over a parallel or USB connection, as
well as when print data is received over a network.
