2. Press the RECORDER button to enter the recorder
mode.
• The indicator beside the RECORDER button will
light up, and the images from the recorder are dis-
played on the active monitor in multiscreen seg-
ments.
• The CAMERA indicator will go out and the monitor
number with "-H00" will appear on the LED display.
3. To exit from the recorder mode, select the camera.
(Refer to p. 75 Camera Selection.) The indicator beside
the button will go out. The monitor number and camera
number will appear on the LED display again.
You can also exit from the recording mode by pressing
the RECORDER button during the recorder mode.
Notes:
• Only one operator can enter the recording mode.
• The images from the recorder, which are displayed on
the monitor, is conformed to the recorder setting.
Normal Playback
1. Enter the recorder mode (Refer to p. 96 Recorder
Mode.)

2. To start the playback, press the PLAY button. The most
recent recorded image will be played back.
• To pause the playback, press the PAUSE button.
• To stop the playback, press the STOP button.
• To resume the playback, press the PLAY button.
• To move forward or backward field advance during
the playback, move the joystick rightward or left-
ward.
Joystick to R(B): Forward field advance
Joystick to L(A): Backward field advance
• To move forward or backward search during the
pause, move the joystick rightward or leftward to
search images.
Joystick to R(B): Search forward
Joystick to L(A): Search backward

• To move forward or backward search during the
playback, press the FF or REW button.
FF( ): Search forward
REW( ): Search backward
• To display the spot picture, press the numeric but-
ton corresponding to the desired camera number,
then press the CAM (SET) button. Then, the active
monitor number with "-H** (** is the camera num-
ber)" will appear on the LED display.
• To resume the multiscreen display, press the button
0 while holding down the SHIFT button.
• To change the number of multiscreen segments,
press the button 0 while holding down the SHIFT
button again during the multiscreen display.
3. To stop the playback, press the STOP button. The mon-
itor display will return to the multiscreen display.
Manual Recording
1. Enter the recorder mode (Refer to p. 96 Recorder
Mode.)
2. To start recording, press the WIDE and TELE buttons
simultaneously.
The digital disk recorder will start recording.
3. To stop the recording, press the STOP button while
holding down the SHIFT button.

Date-and-time Search Playback
The recorded images can be searched for through the date
and time when an alarm input was accepted.
1. Open the ALARM HISTORY table. (Refer to p. 85 Alarm
History Table.)
2. Write down the date and time of the alarm input on a
piece of paper.
3. Enter the recorder mode (Refer to p. 96 Recorder
Mode.)
