2. Optional input/output functions
Ths s the functon to perform the output of functon sgnal set to the connector and the control of smple
moton of the sewng machne by settng varous functons to nput connector (CN5) and output connector
(CN50) on CTL crcut board. For the detals, refer to the Engneer's Manual for SC-50.
■ Optional input/output setting screen
[Standard settng]
¡ When settng the functon to nput connector (CN5)
) Press swtches 1 and 2 , and select optonal nput (No.  to ) correspondng to pn No. of nput connector.
2) Press swtches 3 and 4 , and select nput functon (functon code No. 0 to 26).
3) Press swtches 5 and 6 , and select nput state (Low : true when Low s nputted, Hgh : true when Hgh
s nputted) of the selected nput functon. When no functon settng (functon code No. 0) s selected,
selecton of nput state does not exst.
* Selecton of plural optonal nputs (No.  to ) and the accompaned nput state s possble. However,
when the same nput functon s set to plural optonal nputs, optonal nput No., the number of whch s
smaller, becomes effectve and that, the number of whch s larger, becomes nvald and fals to work.
It is not possible to set the function to input connector (CN123) on the extension circuit board (IPOP
circuit board).
¡ When settng the functon to output connector (CN50)
4) Press swtches 7 and 8 , and select optonal output (No.  to ) correspondng to pn No. of output connector.
5) Press swtches 9 and !0 , and select output functon (functon code No.  to 3).
6) Press swtches !1 and !2 , and select output state (Low : Low s output at the tme of true, Hgh : Hgh s
output at the tme of true) of the selected output functon. When no functon settng (functon code No. 0)
s selected, selecton of output state does not exst.
* Selecton of plural optonal outputs and the accompaned output state s possble. However, when the same output functon
s set to plural optonal outputs, optonal output No., the number of whch s smaller, becomes effectve, and that, the number
of whch s larger, becomes nvald and fals to work.
* When the output functon selected at optonal output (No.  to ) s solenod output functon (TRM, BT, WP or FL), the
optonal output becomes effectve, and the functon correspondng to connectors for sewng machne (CN36 and 37)
becomes nvald.
It is not possible to set the function to output connector (CN124) on the extension circuit board (IPOP
circuit board).
7) Press swtch !4 to store the settng n memory and end. Then the screen as shown n the llustraton below
s dsplayed. When swtch !3 s pressed, all contents of the settng up to that tme are nvaldated, and the
state returns to that before settng.
