1. SETUP OF HARDWARE

Refer to Instructon Manual for SC-50 together wth ths Instructon Manual.
WARNING :
• To prevent personal injury caused by abrupt start of the sewing machine, carry out the work after turning OFF
the power switch and a lapse of 5 minutes or more.
• To prevent damage of device caused by maloperation and wrong specifications, be sure to connect all the
corresponding connectors to the specified places.
• To prevent personal injury caused by maloperation, be sure to lock the connector with lock.
• As for the details of handling respective devices, read carefully the Instruction Manuals supplied with the
devices before handling the devices.

) Install operaton panel 1 on the machne head
usng screws 2 , washers 3 and sprng washers
4 suppled as accessores.
Do not disassemble the operation panel to
prevent it from breakage.

) Loosen two screws n the front cover of control
box and open the front cover.
2) Remove connectors and ground wre of the crcut
board attached to the front cover.
3) Place the front cover at an angle of approxmate
45°, draw t n the drecton of arrow, and remove
t from the box man unt.
Do not draw the front cover forcibly since
there is the possibility that the click of front
cover is broken.
4) Securely nsert CN4 of IPOP crcut board suppled
as accessores to whte connector CN4 on the
front cover crcut board from the upper sde.
5) Fx IPOP crcut board wth two screws 1 suppled
as accessores.
6) Place the front cover at an angle of approxmate
45°, attach t to the box man unt, and attach
connectors and ground wre whch have been
removed n step 2).
When removing IPOP circuit board, turn
OFF the power and remove it after 5 minutes
or more have passed.

2) Set the panel cord same as the other machne
head cords, nsert t to CN2 of the control box,
and lock t.
3) Put t together wth other machne head cords and
bundle them wth clp band 5 .
4) Close the front cover and tghten two screws,
whle takng care not to put the cords n the front
cover.
