2-9. ON/OFF switch
• When the materal edge sensor, whch s optonally avalable, s connected to the operaton panel, the ON/
OFF swtch of the materal edge sensor becomes effectve.
• If the material edge sensor is specified, the sewing machine will automatically stop running or perform
thread trmmng when the sensor detects the materal edge.
If the material edge sensor is used in combination with the operation panel, carefully read the
Instruction Manual for the material edge sensor beforehand.

2-10. Automatic thread trimming switch

• Ths swtch s used to automatcally actuate the thread trmmer n a process where the sewng machne
automatcally stops or when the materal edge sensor s used.
(if the automatic reverse stitching (for end) is specified, the thread trimmer will actuate after the sewing
machne completes the automatc reverse sttchng (for end).)

2-11. One-shot automatic stitching switch

• Ths swtch s used, n the constant-dmenson sttchng mode, rectangular sttchng mode, or n the process
where the material edge sensor is specified, to make the sewing machine automatically perform sewing at
the specified speed until the end of the process is reached only by driving the sewing machine once.

After selectng the sewng counter by pressng swtch 1 ,
the counter value can be modfed usng counter value
settng swtches 2 and 3 . In addton, the sewng counter
value returns to "0" by pressng counter reset swtch 4 .

Every tme needle up/down compensaton swtch 1
s pressed, the needle goes up when t s n ts lowest
poston or comes down when t s n ts hghest poston.
Ths compensates the sttch by a half of the predetermned
sttch length.
Note, however, that the machne does not run
contnuously at a low speed even f you keep the swtch
held pressed.
Also, note that the needle up/down compensaton swtch
s noperatve after turnng the handwheel by hand.
Thread trmmng s operatve only at the tme of sttch
compensaton after depressng the front part of the pedal
once.
