OPER, STBY, *OPC, *OPC?, and *WAI all operate as described in Chapter 6. The state
of the oscilloscope's output while in SCOPE mode is reflected by the bit in the ISR that
is assigned to SETTLED.
The FUNC? query returns SDCV, SACV, LEVSINE, MARKER, EDGE, and WAVEGEN for
the corresponding oscilloscope modes.
Parameters: OFF
Example:
SCOPE?
(IEEE-488, RS-232, Sequential)
Returns the oscilloscope's current mode of operation. Returns OFF if the oscilloscope is
off.
Parameters: None
Response:

Turns the oscilloscope hardware off. Programs
0V,0 Hz, output at the NORMAL terminals, standby.
Oscilloscope's ac and dc voltage mode.
VOLT
Programs 20 mV peak-to-peak, 1 kHz, output at the
SCOPE BNC, output impedance 1 M , standby if
from OFF or previously in standby.
Oscilloscope Edge mode. Programs 25 mV peak-to-

peak, 1 MHz, output at the SCOPE BNC, standby if
from OFF or previously in standby.
Oscilloscope-leveled sine mode. Programs 30 mV
LEVSINE
peak-to-peak, 50 kHz, output at the SCOPE BNC,
standby if from OFF or previously in standby.
Oscilloscope Marker mode. Programs the period to
MARKER
1 ms, output at the SCOPE BNC, standby if from
OFF or previously in standby.
Oscilloscope Wavegen mode. Programs 20 mV
WAVEGEN
peak-to-peak, square wave, 1 kHz, no offset, output
impedance 1 M , standby if from OFF or
previously in standby.
