4.3.11 Removing the Carriage Mechanism

4.3.11.1 CARRIAGE, ASSY.
1. Remove the HOUSING, UPPER.
2. Remove the COVER, HOUSING, LOWER.
3. Remove the MOTOR ASSY., CR.
4. Remove the SCALE, CR. (p130)
5. Remove the PUMP, CAP, ASSY.
6. Remove the COVER, CR. (p150)
7. Remove the INK, SYSTEM, ASSY.
8. Remove the PRINT HEAD. (p159)
9. Remove the screw on the rear of the main unit that secures the grounding wire of
the MOTOR ASSY., ASF and the MOTOR SSY., PUMP, and release them from
the main frame. See Figure 4-106.

One C.B.S. 3 x 6 screw (9 ± 1 kgf.cm)
10. Push the PULLEY, DRIVEN, ASSY. in the direction of the arrow, and remove the
PULLEY, DRIVEN, ASSY. and the BELT, CR from the HOLDER, PULLEY,
DRIVEN. See Figure 4-107.
Be sure to install the PULLEY, DRIVEN, ASSY. to the HOLDER,
PULLEY, DRIVEN so that the protrusion of the PULLEY,
DRIVEN, ASSY. is seen as shown in
