To configure bidirectional PIM, perform these steps:
Enable bidirectional PIM globally.

Enabling or Disabling Bidirectional PIM Globally

To enable or disable bidirectional PIM, perform one of these tasks:

Enable bidirectional PIM globally on the switch.
Disable bidirectional PIM globally on the switch.
This example shows how to enable bidirectional PIM on the switch:
Router(config)# ip pim bidir-enable
