Management code
The management code registered in the management mode described in the
second paragraph on page 62, the first paragraph on page 68, the third paragraph
on page 72 and the second paragraph on page 77 is 5200.
This management code can be changed. See "9 CHANGE MANAGEMENT
CODE WITH #-KEYS" on page 79.
Auto shut-off time
The initial setting for "8 AUTO SHUT-OFF TIME" described on page 76 is 90
minutes. This setting can be changed. For the details, see the setting procedure on
page 79.
Opening/closing the front cover
The shape of the front cover is different on 52 ppm copier, therefore how to open
and close the front cover is different. To open/close the front cover, such as to
replace the toner cartridge or remove misfed paper, see the illustration at left.
Removal procedure of misfeed in duplex unit
Instead of the removal procedure described on page 92 and page 93 ("4 Misfeed
in duplex unit"), remove paper as follows.
1. Remove the copy tray, open the left cover, and remove the misfed paper. (page 91)
* After the paper is removed, close the left cover and return the copy tray to their
original position. If the misfed paper is not there, go to next step.
