Symptom
Vertical white lines
appear.
Printed images are
fading vertically.
Point to check
Not connected to a wireless access
point.
Is the e-mail address of the machine
set?
Did you enter the wrong e-mail
address?
Is the SMTP server address setting
correct?
Is the POP3 server address setting
correct?
Is the DNS server address setting
correct?
Is another job running?
Is an error occurring?
Is the FTP/CIFS setting right?
Is an error occurring?
Point to check
The LED heads are dirty.
The toner is low.
Foreign material may be present
on the image drum.
The image drum is not installed
properly.
The ADF document glass is dirty.
The LED heads are dirty.
The toner is low.
The paper is unsuitable.
 Check that the wireless access
point power is switched on.
 Check the wireless access point
settings, and then try the manual
settings or automatic settings.
 Restart the wireless LAN function.
 Press the <SETTING> key and
select [Admin Setup] >
[Network Menu] > [Network
Setup] > [Wireless Setting],
and then select [Reconnect
Wireless].
Set the e-mail address of the
machine.
Enter the correct e-mail address.
Check the SMTP server setting.
Check the POP3 server setting.
Check the DNS server address
setting.
Wait until the other job finishes.
Follow the instructions displayed on
the display screen of the machine.
