Installing Your Machine
Open the document glass cover.

Remove the protection tapes (6).

Open the ADF and remove packing tapes.

Close the document glass cover.

Now, you can open or close the scanner.
Open the scanner unit.

Remove the protection tapes, and

remove desiccants and films.
Press the top cover open button (8) and

open the top cover.

Lift the image drum from printer.

Note
 Do not expose image drum to light for more than
5 minutes
 Do not touch shiny green surface at bottom of image
drum.
Remove the silica gel pack before

installation.
