This appendix shows importing certificates examples using Netscape Navigator and Internet
Explorer 5. This appendix uses the ZyWALL 70 as an example. Other models should be
similar.
Import Vantage CNM's Certificates into Netscape Navigator
In Netscape Navigator, you can permanently trust the Vantage CNM's server certificate by
importing it into your operating system as a trusted certification authority.
Select Accept This Certificate Permanently in the following screen to do this.

Explorer
For Internet Explorer to trust a self-signed certificate from the Vantage CNM, simply import
the self-signed certificate into your operating system as a trusted certification authority.
To have Internet Explorer trust a Vantage CNM certificate issued by a certificate authority,
import the certificate authority's certificate into your operating system as a trusted
certification authority.
The following example procedure shows how to import the Vantage CNM's (self-signed)
server certificate into your operating system as a trusted certification authority.
