Solution
Blank Disc
Nothing is recorded on the disc.

Can'1 Edit
The disc is record-protected.
Tracks are too short to be joined.
The combine function was used while playing back
the first track.
The divide function was used at the beginning of
the track.
The combine function was used to join a track
recorded
in monaural with a track recorded in
stereo.
Programmed play or random play is activated.

Disc Error
The disc is damaged by scratches.
The unit received a strong shock during a TOC
reading.
Disc Full
There is not enough time remaining on the disc to
record

Temp Over
The temperature of the unit is too high.
The surrounding temperature is too high or too low.

Emergency
The unit operates abnormally due to a scratched
disc or a strong shock.

PB Disc
There is an attempt to record or edit a prerecorded
music disc (optical disc).
Protected
The disc is record-protected.
TOC
Full
There are too many tracks or emphasis data to be
recorded or edited, or there is no room on the disc.

Mecha Error
Error occurs in the loading mechanism.
(All functions except the POWER will be disabled.)
Can'1 Copy
Dubbing is prohibited by the SCMS standard.
No Signal
The digital connecting cord (optical) is not plugged
in properly.

MD Error
A trouble occurs in the MD unit.

IJTOC Error
TOC data is not registered correctly due to a strong
shock.
Slide the record-protect tab on the disc, (See page
22.)

Replace the disc.
Do not subject the disc to strong shock during aTOC
