Self-Test Results Messages

The results of the last power-up or reset self-test appear in the middle column of
the System and Test Status screen.

Self-Test Results Messages

Message What Message Indicates
CPU Failed The CPU failed internal
testing.
DataPath Failed The unit failed to loop data
between the DSX-1 Port and
the DSL loop.
Device Failed One or more of the unit's
integrated circuit chips failed
device-level testing.
DSX-1 Failed The unit failed to loop data on
Sync Port Failed the DTE interface circuit.
G.703 Failed
Failure xxxxxxxx An internal failure occurred.
(xxxxxxxx represents an
8-digit hexadecimal failure
code for use by service
personnel.)
FPGA Download The download of a Field
Failed Programmable Gate Array
(FPGA) failed.
PLD Failed A failure in a Programmable
Logic Device (PLD) was
detected.
Memory Failed The unit failed memory
verification.
Passed No errors were detected.
