User Name
Type the user name for this user account. You may use 1-30 alphanumeric characters,
periods (.), at (@), underscores(
This value is case-sensitive. User names have to be different than user group names, and
some words are reserved. See
User Type
Select the type of user account the Zyxel Device uses for the Local Administrator account
from the drop-down list box.
Select the type of user account the Zyxel Device uses for the User account from the drop-
down list box:
Password
This field is not available if you select the Extent User type.
Enter a password consists of 4 to 64 characters for this user account, including 0-9a-zA-
Z'(){}<>^'+/:!*#@&=$\.~%,|;-"
Retype
This field is not available if you select the Extent User type.

Admin- this user can configure the Zyxel Device settings using the web configurator or
CLI.
Viewer- this user can only view the Zyxel Device settings using the web configurator and
perform basic diagnostics for troubleshooting using the command line interface (CLI).
User - this user has access to the Zyxel Device's services and can also browse user-mode
commands (CLI).
Extent User - this user account is maintained on a remote server, such as RADIUS or LDAP.
