2. Manual Head Adjustment
1) Load A3/11" x 17" media on the printer.
2) Select "Head (User)' in the "Adjustment" user
menu,
and press one of the Down
arrow,
ONLINE or MENU keys.
¢ The printer outputs the head adjustment
pattern.
* It takes about 30 seconds for the printer to
output the head adjustment pattern.

From pattern A (Black and Cyan vertical lines)
select the No. where lines overlap each other
the most using the Left or Right arrow key.
* Select within the range -4 to 4.
* The current setup is always output at posi-
tion 0.

Press the Down arrow key.
* The screen for entering setting value B is
displayed.
5)
Following the same procedure as above, enter
the setting values up to N, and press the Down
arrow key.
CAUTION
The setting in the monochrome mode is A
to F.
6) Tostore the setting values to the printer, press
"Enter". To cancel changes made to settings
and return the setup to its original values, press
the Left or Right arrow key to display "Reset".
Next, press any of the Down arrow, ONLINE or
MENU key.
