The select circuit in the ink detection circuit board outputs the 12V to the electrode in the selected ink
bottle. When there is no ink between the two electrodes, the ink level detection signal (INK_SNS) output from
the engine controller PCB from the select circuit through the relative circuit, changes from "1" to "0". This
operation is performed 40 times and if the ink is not detected more than 20 times, "Tank is empty' is indicated.
