The power-control button on the device and the power switch on the power supply do not turn off
the electrical current supplied to the device. The device also might have more than one power cord.
To remove all electrical current from the device, ensure that all power cords are disconnected from
the power source.
Attention:
• Read "Installation Guidelines" on page 37
you work safely.
• Touch the static-protective package that contains the component to any unpainted metal surface on the
node; then, remove it from the package and place it on a static-protective surface.

• Depending on the specific configuration, the node might look different from the illustrations in this section.
Procedure
Step 1. Make preparations for this task.
a. Make sure that the drive cage has not been installed yet.
b. Locate the MicroSD card socket on the system board (see
page 24).
Step 2. Install the MicroSD card.
a. Place the MicroSD card into the socket.
b. Close the socket lid.
c. Slide the socket lid to the lock position.
