8.3.2 Check the height control system of the cutting deck
The malfunction of the electrical control can occur in two ways.
a) If it does not work in only one direction (up and/or down) the control switch must be re-
placed.

b) If it does not work in both directions, connect
the power of an external 12 Volt battery directly to
the contacts of the connector (1) of the actuator,
alternating between the "negative" and "positive"
positions.
If the actuator operates in both modes, check the
connections and wiring; if not, replace the switch.
