Installing a PCI riser-card assembly
Before you begin
Reinstall any PCIe cards and reconnect any internal cables that you removed.
About this task
You must install the PCI riser-card assembly after you replace the PCIe card.
Important:
Always use an electrostatic-discharge wrist strap or other grounding system when you work
inside the server. For more information, see

1. Align the PCI riser-card assembly with the PCI connector on the system board. See
