 Ex d cable gland
An Ex d barrier type cable gland can be delivered for the
CIMSmart ATEX version. The cable gland is IP68, suitable for
zone 1, gas group IIB and can be used with armoured cables Ø6.7-
10.3mm, including the CIMSmart cable.

IGNAL CONVERTERS
Two signal converters can be delivered by Bosch Rexroth:
RS-485 to USB converter for the CIMSmart diagnostic and

monitoring output
A RS-485 to USB converter to connect the diagnostic and
monitoring output from the CIMSmart to a PC.

RS-422 to analog converter for the CIMSmart position output

A counter module/converter, to convert the CIMSmart incremental
RS422 output to an analogue +/-10 V, 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA.
Furthermore the module has a RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces for
serial readout of the counter. The module is easy to set up by a
teach button, or by PC and Windows software.
