Connection with Dante-compatible DSP using three or more MAS-A100
units
A system with a degree of freedom can be constructed by using a Dante-compatible
DSP in the speech reinforcement audio system. This section describes a system using
the Symetrix Prism 4x4.
This assumes the MAS-A100 and loudspeaker installation conditions described in "3.2
Reinforcing/capturing a lecture in a medium-sized room" (page 9).
The following diagram shows an example with Prism 4x4 configured using Symetrix
Composer.
The Main output of the MAS-A100 units are routed to the Dante inputs of the Prism
4x4 (up to 64 channels). The Main outputs from the MAS-A100 units are mixed using
a summer and the volume is trimmed during installation. The volume and sound
quality of other audio sources (such as handheld microphones, PC audio) are adjusted
on each channel of a separate bus.
The power amplifier mixes the MAS-A100 mixer output from the summer with the
other audio sources.
