Installer Mode

Use of the Installer PIN might be restricted.
See "Keypad Response Options" in the
DS7200V2 Expert Programming Guide
(P/N: 4998153891) for information on
enabling/restricting the Installer PIN.
When all areas configured in the control panel are
disarmed, the Installer Menu can be accessed from
any LCD keypad by entering [Installer PIN][#][4][1] or
[#][4][1][Installer PIN].
The default Installer PIN is 7890.
Close the Installer Switch must when using an
Installer Keypad.
If any area configured in the control panel is armed,
only the Installer Keypad can access the Installer
Menu. After 20 minutes of inactivity, the Installer
Menu is automatically exited. The control panel resets
if it was in programming mode.
If the Installer Switch is closed when the control panel
powers up, the control panel completes its power up.
It then checks if there is an Installer Keypad. If not, it
finds the text keypad with the lowest address. The
first keypad found is placed in the Installer Menu with
installer rights, and the 20-minute timer is started.
If [8] is pressed to enter keypad programming, the
control panel enters keypad programming even if
keypad programming is disabled. When the Installer
Menu is exited, the control panel reverts to normal
operation.

The control panel activates the Bell Time (Output
Function Type 1|5) and Alarm Output (Output

27.3

Battery Test

Press the [3] key to begin a Battery Test.
The battery test causes the system to run on battery

volts during the 4-minute test, or if the battery is
missing, the system restores AC power and displays
a system trouble at all keypads.
27.4

Press the [4] key to send a test report.
The control panel attempts to send a test report. If
there is a system trouble at the time of the test, the
control panel sends a "Test, Off Normal" report.

panel creates a system trouble and a communication
failure.
