Base Radio Fault Indications

The BRC have 4 LEDs that are under software control: only 3 of these are used (TX, Status, BR
Alarm). The LEDs indicate the main operating state of the BRC, as outlined in the table below.
Additionally there are two SC1, SC2 LEDs indicating network problems.

Check if power supply switch is ON
•
Verify power to the BR, cabling
•
Check LEDs on PSU (power supply ) -
replace PSU (power supply)

Check SC link LEDs
•
Reset the MTS and interrupt the auto-
boot process. Log on to the required
application: Boot1 on BR-Arch-1, Base
Radio Core on BR-Arch-2. Then use
the following commands, to check if
IP/MAC addresses are valid and are
different on each interface (to avoid
conflicts):
