On a machine with a Kubota diesel engine, the fuel pump is attached to the

When testing fuel pump, ensure that pump is not operated without
fuel.
Because diesel fuel is highly flammable, use caution when handling
it. Do not smoke while testing the fuel pump. Do not test fuel pump
while engine is hot. Ensure that there is adequate ventilation when
testing. Always wipe up any spilled fuel before starting the engine.
1. Park machine on a level surface, lower cutting units, shut off the engine
and set the parking brake. Remove key from key switch. Raise operator
seat and hood.
2. Disconnect wire harness electrical connector from the engine fuel stop
