Carry out the following steps to install the communication module:

Device replacement
It is possible to replace a communication module during operation.
In so doing, the system behaves as follows:
● The device is disconnected from the bus. Communication with downstream devices is not
interrupted.
● Forwarding of the supply voltage is not interrupted.
● In the case of M200D PROFINET, a removal interrupt is generated in the unplugged
state. When reconnected to a motor starter module, an insertion interrupt is generated.

Description
Insert the connection module onto the motor starter module.
Secure the communication module on the motor starter module with the 4 captive screws.
