3. You need to check the TIM heat sink material.
v For each GPU, the TIM must be replaced.
v For each processor, inspect the TIM material for visible signs of damage as shown in Figure 33 on
page 26.
If the TIM is damaged, use the supplied scraper to remove the TIM from the cold plate. Using the
tweezers, center the new TIM onto the system processor module. The side with the red stripe
must be facing up. Align the beveled edges of the TIM and the system processor module.
