Installing or removing the internal PVIM module on the
Secure Router 2330
Use the instructions in this section to install, remove, or replace the internal PVIM module on
the Secure Router 2330. This internal module is not hot swappable.
If you ordered the PVIM module with your Secure Router 2330, the Secure Router ships with
the PVIM module installed. The estimated average time to install the internal PVIM module is
fifteen minutes.
Caution:
Do not open the Secure Router 2330 top cover while the unit is powered.

Installing the internal PVIM module

Prerequisites
• Ensure you have a PVIM module ready to install before opening the chassis top cover.
• Ensure you have a Phillips #1 screwdriver.
• Ensure the Secure Router 2330 is powered off.
