Reason display value (q.931)
The information element "Reason display" is used in DISC, STATUS, and other signals to
indicate the reason for signal generation. D-channel disconnection can be determined also
from "generation source" indicating the signal source (network or equipment).
"Display value" in the table is a hexadecimal value indicated in the FF of each signal.
"Number" in the rightmost column of the table is a unique number (decimal) indicating the
contents of each reason. This value is used to inquire the carrier (NTT or other) or other
manufacturer.
