During normal operation, the HMC "mirrors" the contents of process variables from the
Rosemount 5300 Level Transmitter to the Modbus registers. To configure the Rosemount
5300 Level Transmitter, it is possible to connect a configuration tool to the HMC. See
Establish HART communication for transmitter with HART to Modbus Converter
information.
